Fresh Start Program and Progress
Sorry for the downtime! A quick update on the homeless situation. Fort Smith is doing well in taking care of its homeless. This past month we took into our shelter 65 individuals, this includes families with children. We are doing our part for the community. This morning we held our first meeting in our chapel for homeless individuals to recieve job training. We partnered with Firelight's Fresh Start Educational Program which do an excellent job for us and for the homeless. This couse is for individuals who have signed up to recieve housing with HPRP- Homeless Prevention Rehousing Program. All our clients who have signed up for this course will be required to attend our classes in our chapel each Tuesday. There are 22 courses.
